At a called meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission
Chamber of the City Hall, at 5: 00 p.m. on February 15, 1977. Mayor Murphy presided and
upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Brumley, Grumley,
Hornsby and Puryear (5) .
Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby,
that the executed copies of the Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 5: 00 p.m., February 15,
1977, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley,
Grumley, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Murphy (5) .
Commissioner Brumley offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Grumley,
that "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF UP TO $300,000 OF ASSESSMENT BONDS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, TO THE EXTENT THAT ASSESSMENTS ARE NOT PAID
BY THE PROPERTY OWNERS WITH REFERENCE TO THE TOWNLIFT PROJECT, AND PROVIDING
FOR THE ISSUANCE, SALE AND DELIVERY THEREOF AND IN ANTICIPATION OF THE ISSUANCE
OF SUCH BONDS AND/OR THE PAYMENT OF SUCH ASSESSMENTS, AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE
OF ASSESSMENT BONDS ANTICIPATION NOTES IN A MANNER AUTHORIZED BY KRS 56.513, AS
PERMITTED BY KRS 58.150 (6) , SAME TO BE PAYABLE AS TO PRINCIPAL FROM THE PROCEEDS
OF SUCH ASSESSMENT BONDS AND/OR SUCH ASSESSMENTS (OR FROM THE PROCEEDS OF
RENEWAL NOTES OR IN PART FROM THE PROCEEDS HEREIN PROVIDED THEREFOR AND IN PART
FROM THE PROCEEDS OF RENEWAL NOTES) , AND AS TO INTEREST FROM THE SOURCES HEREIN
PROVIDED THEREFOR", be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection
in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage. Adopted on call of the
Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Grumley, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Murphy (5) .

Commissioner Grumley offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby,
that the meeting be adjourned. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley,
Grumley, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Murphy (5) .
