At a Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber
in the City Hall, Paducah , Kentucky , at 5: 00 p. m. , on April 1, 1976 , Mayor Murphy presided
and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Brumley,
Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Murphy (4) , Commissioner Grumley was absent.
Mayor Murphy offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear , that the
executed copy of an Agreement by the Mayor and Commissioners for a Special Meeting of the
Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah to be held on April 1, 1976 at 5: 00 p.m., be
received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Hornsby, Puryear
and Mayor Murphy (4) .
Commissioner Brumley offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that
an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT
TO CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND THE AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE ,
COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES AFL-CIO LOCAL 1586, COVERING THE PERIOD FROM
APRIL 1, 1976 THROUGH MARCH 31, 197811, be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Brumley, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Murphy (4) .
Mayor Murphy offered motion,, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the
executed copy of the Amendment to Contract between the City of Paducah and the American
Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees AFL-CIO Local 1586, dated April 1, 1976,
be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Hornsby,
Puryear and Mayor Murphy (4) .
On motion the meeting adjourned.
