At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber
in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 4:30 P.M., on February 19, 1976, Mayor Murphy
presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners
Brumley, Grumley , Hornsby,, Puryear and Mayor Murphy (5) .
Mayor Murphy offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the
executed copies of the Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 4: 30 p . m . , on February 19,
1976 ,b- a received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley,
Grumley Hornsby, Purvear an - Mayor Murphy (5) .
Commissioner Grumley offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that
the document designated as "PROPOSAL OF FEBRUARY 18 , 1976" executed by Professional
Firefighters Local 168 and the City of Paducah be approved, received and filed. Adopted
on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Grumley, Hornsby and Puryear (3) , Nays,
Commissioner Brumley and Mayor Murphy (2) .
Commissioner Brumley offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that
an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUB -SECTIONS (a) , (b) , (c) , (d) , (e) ,
(f) , (g) , (h) AND (j) , AND REPEALING SUB -SECTION (i) OF SECTION 12-19 'NUMBER,
RANK AND SALARIES OF MEMBERS' OF ARTICLE II 'FIRE DEPARTMENT' OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH , KENTUCKY", be adopted. Adopted on call of
the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Grumley, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Murphy (5) .
On motion the meeting adjourned.
