Proceedings of Board of Commissioners City of Paducah February 18, 1976
At a Special Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission
Chamber in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 8: 00 A.M., on February 18, 1976, Mayor
Murphy presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commission-
ers Brumley, Grumley, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Murphy (5) .
The Agreement for this Special Meeting signed by the Mayor and all four (4)
Commissioners is filed with and as a part of the record hereof.
Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that
the Board of Commissioners retire to executive session for the purpose of discussing
possible litigation and labor negotiations with firefighters. Adopted on call of the Roll,
Yeas, Commissioners Grumley, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Murphy (4) , Commissioner
Brumley voted "NO" .
Mayor Murphy offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that an
ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE VACATION OF POSITIONS BY MEMBERS
OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH WHO FAILED TO REPORT FOR DUTY
ON FEBRUARY 19, 1976, AT THE HOUR OF 1: 00 P.M., PREVAILING TIME" , be adopted.
Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Grumley, Hornsby, Puryear
and Mayor Murphy (5) .
On motion the meeting adjourned.
