HomeMy WebLinkAbout10/13/81Proceedings of Board of � Commissioners No. 468 City of Paducah At a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber, City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, on October 13, 1981, Mayor Protein Coleman Presided and upon call of the Roll, the following answered to their names: Commissioners Flynn, Ford, Viterisi and Mayor Protein Coleman (4) . Mayor Penrod was absent (1) . Commissioner Flynn offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Ford,. that the reading of the Minutes for September 22 -and October 6, 1981 be waived and that the Minutes of said meeting prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioner's Flynn,-, Ford., Viterisi and Mayor Protein Coleman Commissioner Flynn offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Vite�isi, that the following Planning Commission Reports be received and filed: Resolution proposing amendment of Section 62 by creating Section 62.17.1, Repainting in the Historical Zone. Request of Jr. Food Mart to close an alley located between Trimble and Clay and 'in a 'northerly and southerly direction east of North 32nd Street. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Flynn, Ford, Viterisi and Mayor Protein Coleman (4) . TO SUPPLY THE CITY'S REQUIREMENT OF GRAVEL FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR, FOR THE SUM OF $3.67 PER CUBIC YARD, DELIVERED TO ANY DESIGNATED PLACE IN THE CITY•, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE". This ordinance is summarized as follows: Authorizing the purchase of gravel for one year, for the sum of $3.67 per cubic yard, delivered to any designated EXECUTE place in the City of Paducah. This ordinance is summarized as follows: Authorizing an employee classification -compensation study, for the 'sum of $5,600.00. Mayor Protem Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Flynn, that the Board of Commissioners introduce an ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF FERGLRSON AUTOMOTIVE SUPPLY, INC . , IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,660.00.0 FOR SALE TO THE' CITY OF ONE NEW 'DRUM DISC LATHE, FOR USE BY THE VEHICLE MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE"'. This ordinance is summarized as follows: It authorizes the City to purchase 'a new drum disc lathe for use by the Vehicle Maintenance Department.
