At a called meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission
Chamber at City Hall, at 4:30 P.M. on March 19, 1980, Mayor Penrod presided and
upon call of the Roll, the following answer to their names: Commissioners Coleman,
Flynn, Viterisi and Mayor Penrod (4) . Commissioner Ford was absent (1) .
Mayor Penrod offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Coleman, that the
executed copies of the Notice of Called Meeting, to be held at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday,
March 19, 1980, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners
Coleman, Flynn, Viterisi and Mayor Penrod (4) .
Mayor Penrod offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Coleman, as follows:
WHEREAS, Kentucky Revised Statutes permit the adoption of ordinances
by reference to a summary thereof;
I therefore move that an ordinance authorizing the City Manager to approve
telephone and utility bills in excess of $2,500.00 per month, and as appended in full
hereto be introduced and adopted according to law. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Coleman, Flynn, Viterisi and Mayor Penrod (4) .

Mayor Penrod adjourned the meeting to the Conference/for a work session
regarding the Kentucky Building Code.
After the work session, the Board reconvened in the Commission Chamber
whereupon Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Viterisi
that the Board go into Executive Session for the purpose of discussing AFSCME contract
negotiations. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Flynn, Viterisi
and Mayor Penrod (4) .
Upon conclusion of the Executive Session, the Board reconvened in the Com-
mission Chamber whereupon the Mayor announced there was no further business.
