Proceedings of Board of Commislioners cay of Paducah June 5. 1979
At a called meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission
Chamber in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 4: 30 P.M. on June 5, 1979, Mayor
Murphy presided and upon call of the Roll, the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Coleman, Grumley, Meeks, Puryear and Mayor Murphy (5) .
Mayor Murphy offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that
the executed copies of the Notice for Called Meeting to be held at 4:30 P.M. on
June 5, 1979, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners
Coleman, Grumley, Meeks, Puryear and Mayor Murphy (5) .
A discussion was held regarding the 1979-80 fiscal year budget.
Commissioner Grumley offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear,
that the Board of Commissioners go into Executive Session for the purpose of dis-
cussing acquisition of real estate involving the relocation of a fire station, and de-
partment heads' salary increases. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners
Coleman, Grumley, Meeks, Puryear and Mayor Murphy (5) .
Upon conclusion of the Executive Session, the Board reconvened in the
Commission Chamber, whereupon the Mayor announced there was no further business.
Upon motion the meeting adjourned.
