HomeMy WebLinkAbout05/13/86 CalledNo. 512 Proceedings of Board of Commissioners City of Paducah May 13, 1486 At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chambers, City Hall, at 7:00 p.m. on May 13, 1986, Mayor Viterisi presided and upon call of the roll, the following answered to their names: Commissioners Cole, Coleman, Ford, Grumley and Mayor Viterisi (5). Commissioner Cole offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Coleman, that the executed copies of the Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 13, 1986, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Cole, Coleman, Ford, Grumley and Mayor Viterisi (5). The Board then heard three grievances resented b Eugene Forrester President of AFSCME 3 grievance Hearings g p y g Local 1985, regarding the City's policy of hiring temporary employees. The Board told Mr. Forrester that the City Manager will issue a statement regarding the City's compliance with the AFSCME Contract for hiring temporary employees. After discussion of these grievances, Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by �V Deny Grievances Commissioner Cole, that the Board of Commissioners deny the grievances presented by Eugene Forrester, President of AFSCME Local 1586. Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Cole, Coleman, Ford, Grumley and Mayor Viterisi (5). Adopted: Upon motion the meeting adjourned. City Clerk I* 7 Mayor
