Proceedings of Board of Commissioners City of Paducah February 7, 1986 - Wilford Hear;nu
At a Called Meeting of, the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber, City Hall,
Paducah, Kentucky, at --6:00 P.M., February 7, 1986, Mayor Viterisi presided, and upon call of the roll,
the following answered to their names: Commissioners Cole, Coleman, Ford, Grumley and Mayor Viterisi
Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Cole, that the executed copies
R $ F Notice Called Mtg. Il of the Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 6:00 P.M., February 7, 1986, be received and filed.
Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Cole, Coleman, Ford, Grumley and Mayor Viterisi (5).
The meeting was called for the purposes of hearing charges against policeman, Terry L.
Wilford Hearing Wiford, brought by Chief Robert L. Patterson.
Wilford appeared in person, with his attorney, Hon. Albert Jones; and Hon. James W. Utter
represented Chief Patterson; and Hon. Daniel Key served as legal advisor to the Board of
Commissioners.
The reading of the charges was waived by Hon. Albert Jones. Detailed testimony was taken
by court reporter Susan Wills. Opening statements were given by Hon. James W. Utter an -d Hon. Albert
Jones.
Mr. Utter called the following witnesses:
Paul D. Browning
Terry L. Wilford
Hearing Recessed Indefinitely After hearing the testimony of the two above witnesses, Mayor Viterisi recessed the hearing
indefinitely.
