At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, held on Tuesday, August 22, 2006,
at 5:00 p.m., Mayor Paxton presided, and upon call of the roll by the City Clerk, the
following answered to their names: Commissioners Coleman, Guess, Sirk, Smith, and
Mayor Paxton (5).
The Board of Commissioners held a public forum to get input from citizens regarding a
smoking ban in public places.
Individuals were allowed 2 minutes speaking time and anyone who spoke representing a
group was allowed 5 minutes.
The following citizens spoke in opposition to the ban:
