HomeMy WebLinkAbout01/31/85No. Proceedings of Board of Commissioners City of Paducah January 31, 1985 At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chambers, City Hall, at 1:00 p.m. on January 31, 1985, Mayor Viterisi presided and upon call of the roll, the following answered to their names: Commissioners Cole, Coleman, Ford, Grumley and Mayor Viterisi (5). Commissioner Cole offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Coleman, that the executed copies of the Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 31, 1985, be received and f iled. Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Cole, Coleman, Ford, Grumley and Mayor Viterisi (5). Commissioner Ford offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Grumley,...that the Board of Commissioners introduce and adopt an ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE. QUOTATION OF INTERNATIONAL SALT COMPANY FOR 600 TONS OF ROCK SALT". This ordinance is summarized as follows: Authorizing the purchase of up to 600 tons of salt at a price of $33.00 per ton from International Salt Company and declaring an .emergency to exist. Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners, Cole, Coleman, Ford, Grumley and Mayor Viterisi (5). Adopted: The Board then held an open workshop to discuss various items.
