At a Called Workshop Meeting of rhe Board of -'-Commissioners held in the -Commission
Chamber, City. -Hall, on.September .4, 1984, Mayor Viterisi presided and upon call of the Roll,
the following answered to their names: Commissioners Cole, Coleman, Ford, Grumley.and Mayor
Viterisi (5).
Commissioner Cole. offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Ford, that the executed
copies,of notices of.Called Workshop to be held at.6:.00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 1984, be
received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, .Yeas,.Comnissioners Cole, Coleman, Ford,
Grumley and Mayor . Viterisi..:.(5) .

Board of Commissioners introduce and adopt an ordinance entitled ;"AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Police Dept. Pay Ordinance
SUB -SECTION. (a) - . Of -SECTION 25-1,. 'NUMBER RANK AND • -SALARIES OF -MEMBERS OF DEPARTMENT' OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY -"..::This ordinance is summarized as follows:
Amending Sub -Section (a) of Section 25-1, Paducah Police Department, and declaring an emergency
to_Iexist. This ordinance shall be effective retroactive to July 1, 1984. Adopted on call of
the roll, yeas, Commissioners Cole, Coleman, Ford, Grumley and Mayor Viterisi (5)..
