HomeMy WebLinkAbout12/08/88Proceedings of Board of Commissioners No. City of Paducah At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chambers at City Hall at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 81, 1988, Mayor Montgomery presided, and upon call of the roll, the following answered to their names: Com- missioners Coleman, Grumley, Keeling, Leeper and Mayor Montgomery (5). Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Grumley, that the executed copies of the Notice of Called meeting to be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 81 1988, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Grumley, Keeling, Leeper and Mayor Montgomery (5). Commissioner Grumley offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Coleman, that a Municipal Order entitled, "A MUNICIPAL ORDER REQUESTING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR CITY HALL HAVC SYSTEM REPLACEMENT", be adopted. Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioner Coleman, Grumley, Keeling, Leeper and Mayor Montgomery (5). Commissioner Keeling offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Leeper, that a Municipal Order entitled, "A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A RELEASE OF EASEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND ROBERT FERREL", be adopted. Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Grumley, Keeling, Leeper and Mayor Montgomery (5). Commissioner Leeper offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Keeling, that the Board of Commissioners go into Executive Session for discussions which might lead to the appointment, discipline or dismissal of an individual employee. Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Grumley, Keeling, Leeper and Mayor Montgomery (5). At the conclusion of the Executive Session the Board reconvened in the Commission Chamber, whereupon the Mayor announced there was no further business. General discussions were held.
