AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ATLAS ROOFING
CONTRACTORS, INC. FOR REPLACEMENT OF THE ROOF FOR THE PADUCAH-
MCCRACKEN COUNTY 911 BUILDING, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Atlas Roofing
Contractors, Inc., in the amount of $39,875.00 for replacement of the roof for the Paducah -
McCracken County 911 Building, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications, advertisement for bid, and as contained in the bid of Atlas Roofing Contractors,
Inc., of February 19, 2009. This expenditure will be shared equally between the City and the
County. Therefore, the total amount paid by the City will be $19,937.50.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a
contract with Atlas Roofing Contractors, Inc., for replacement of the roof for the Paducah -
McCracken County 911 Building, as authorized in Section 1 above, pursuant to the
specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in
the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Project # PF0057.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
