AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF MOBILE
DATA TERMINALS FOR USE IN THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
WHEREAS, this equipment is available under State Contract No. C-
06194847 and competitive bidding is not required.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Finance Director is authorized to pay the total sum
of $53,469.52 to GTSI Corp. for the purchase of 13 mobile data terminals for the
Paducah Police Department.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
GTSI Corp., for the purchase of 13 mobile data terminals authorized in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be processed through the Police
Department computer -hardware account.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
