HomeMy WebLinkAbout04/08/88No. 130 Proceedings of Board of Commissioners City of Paducah April 8, 1988 �r AFSCME 1988 RAISES AFSCME CONTRACT AMENDMENT - 1988 .V A$SCME MEMO OF UNDERSTANDING 1988 Lease Front Loader for Landfill WORKSHOP At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commissioner Chambers, at 6:00 p.m. on April 8, 1988, Mayor Montgomery presided and upon call of the roll, the following answered to their names: Commissioners Coleman, Grumley, Keeling, Leeper and Mayor Montgomery (5). Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Grumley, that the executed copies of the Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 8, 1988, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Grumley, Keeling, Leeper and Mayor Montgomery (5). Commissioner Grumley offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Coleman, that the Board of Commissioners introduce and adopt an ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 10-52, 10-539 10-549 10-559 10-569 10-599, 10-60 AND 10-61, 'CIVIL SERVICE' OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY". This ordinance is summarized as follows: Amending salaries of members of AFSCME Local 1586, effective April 1, 1988. Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Grumley, Keeling, Leeper and Mayor Montgomery (5). Commissioner Keeling offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Leeper, that the Board of Commissioners introduce and adopt an ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES AFL-CIO LOCAL 1586". This ordinance is summarized as follows: Authorizing the Mayor to execute a contract amendment between the City and AFSCME Local 1586. Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Grumley, Keeling, Leeper and Mayor Montgomery (5). Commissioner Leeper offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Keeling, that the Board of Commissioners introduce and adopt an ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A MEMO OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES AFL-CIO LOCAL 1586". This ordinance is summarized as follows: Authorizing the Mayor to execute a Memo of Understanding between the City and AFSCME Local 1586. Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Grumley, Keeling, Leeper and Mayor Montgomery (5). Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Grumley, that the Board of Commissioners introduce an ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WHAYNE SUPPLY COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,481.00 PER MONTH, FOR LEASE -PURCHASE OF A TRACK TYPE FRONT LOADER FOR USE ON THE LANDFILL, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME". This ordinance is summarized as follows: Accepting the bid of Whayne Supply Company in the amount of $6,481.00 per month, for lease -purchase of a front loader for use on the landfill, and authorizing the Mayor to execute a contract for same. The Board then held a Workshop. Upon motion the meeting adjourned. ADOPTED: a 7 a City Clerk
