HomeMy WebLinkAboutLes Woolfenden"RESOLUTION WHEREAS, Les Woolfenden has been a member of the Board of Directors of Forest Hills Public Project Corporation for approximately 82 years, and has been President of the Corporation all of those years; and WHEREAS,'MR. Woolfenden has spent countless hours of his time voluntarily carrying out the affairs of the Corporation and working with the personnel of the project, all of which promoted and insured-the continued success of the Corporation; and WHEREAS, since his association with the Corporation, Mr: Woolfenden has always provided friendship, guidance and inspiration to the members of the Board, and gave to the Board an unparalleled expertise and wisdom for which the members of the Board will always be appreciative; and WHEREAS, on December 29, 1982, Mr. Woolfenden unexpectedly passed away, which passing the Board desires to note with this Resolution; NOW, THEREFORE, upon the unanimous vote of all the members of the Board of Directors, the following Resolution is adopted: BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of Forest Hills Public Project Corporation, individually and as a whole, do hereby express their sincere sorrow and remorse of the passing of Mr. Les Woolfenden, who shall be missed not only as a hardworking and unselfish board member, but also and most importantly, as an admired and respected friend. Mr. Woolfenden, through his service and leadership, has insured during his tenure with the Board the continued success and efficient operation of the Project. Accordingly, the Board does hereby proclaim posthumously their special thanks and gratitude to DZr. Woolfenden for all that he has done and for all that he has given to the Project, its personnel, and to ,each member of the Board of Directors. Though he will be greatly missed, he will always be remembered. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be served upon the City by presenting a copy of same to the Mayor of the City, Mayor Penrod. Further, a copy of this Resolution shall be retained in the Corporate records of Forest Hills Public Project Corporation. JOHN K.
