RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Edna Hipp, Peggy Conyer, Mae Davis, Melody
Jones, Judy Green, Elaine Howe, Ellen Wise, Shirley York, Sherry
',~, Duwe and Diana Lane comprised the Country Club of Paducah's USTA
Volvo Team; and ,
WHEREAS, the Country Club of Paducah's USTA. Volvo, Team
is coached by Brian Martin; and
WHEREAS, the Country Club- of Paducah's 'USTA Volvo Team
won the National Championship at Seabrook, South Carolina, on Sep-
tember 20, 1987; and
WHEREAS, the winning. of the National Championship carries.
with iz the sportsmanship and dedication which reflect the qualities
that exemplify the City of Paducah.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT' RESOLVED that the Board of
Commissioners of the City of Paducah express their appreciation and
commend Edna Hipp, Peggy Conyer, Mae Davis, Melody Jones, Judy

Lane and Coach Brian Martin for their winning efforts as the Country
Club of Paducah's USTA Volvo Team.
