AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
STRATEGIC HEALTH RISK ADVISOR & STRATEGIC BENEFIT PLACEMENT
SERVICES CONTRACT WITH PEEL & HOLLAND FINANCIAL GROUP FOR
ADMINISTRATION OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH'S HEALTH INSURANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a Strategic
Health Risk Advisor and Strategic Benefit Placement Services contract with Peel &
Holland Financial Group, in the amount of $71,900.00, payable in four equal installments
of $17,975 each, for administration services pertaining to the administration of the City
of Paducah's health insurance. An additional fee of $200 per hour, subject to a minimum
retainer of $5,000.00, will be charged for services requested by the City or the City's
legal counsel for issues that arise in connection with employer and employee bargaining,
legal matters, disputes or other similar issues. This contract is for the 2014 calendar year.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to the Insurance Claims
account -07302085422307.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
