RESOLUTI O1~
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah and the County of
McCracken jointly own the property which Barkley Regional
~~!^°~,, Airport currently occupies; and
'~"'~~ WHEREAS, the Paducah Airport Corporation was
established in 1941, under then existing Kentucky Statutes,
to undertake and carry out projects for the operation and
development of the airport; and
WHEREAS, the Paducah Airport Corporation (PAC) has
a series of long term leases with the City and County which
permit PAC to operate Barkley Regional Airport; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor of Paducah is authorized to
sign and submit an application to the Economic Development
Administration (EDA) in the amount of $532,000; and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah, as a co-applicant,
authorizes EDA a first mortgage in an amount not to exceed

~~~~ $532,000 on Barkley Regional Airport's 62 acre industrial
park and business/corporate complex; and
WHEREAS, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sole
obligation of the City of Paducah is the permitting of a.
first mortgage in the amount of $532,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the
City of Paducah approves this project as submitted to the
Economic Development Administration.
