".,"• ~ ,~. ~~~a ~ u ~ 4 .. ,. ,~ ~,~I. 248 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, a number of cities from Washington, D.C. to California have elected to join together in support of a highway project called I-66 Project, Inc., such project potentially providing substantial economic and social. 1 benefit to the City of Paducah and the region; and J~°J~ WHEREAS, such cities. have agreed to support the not-for-profit corporation, I-66 Project, Inc., to enhance the opportunity to have such a highway built through the Paducah area; and WHEREAS, such a corporation will have on its Board one representative from the City of Paducah, such a representative to act on behalf of the City and in support of this project. (We would have a representative from one of our organizations.) NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Paducah resolves to endorse the expenditure of its proportionate share of $1,611.11 each year for three years as the initial capitalization fee of I-66 Project, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation based in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City's representative to I-66 Project, Inc. be charged with the responsibility to vote a continuing annual fee decided upon by the Board of Directors of I-66 Project, as determined by the financial needs of the corporation.
