Dr. Irvin Smith
WHEREAS, Dr. Irvin Smith has served the Paducah community as
an anesthesiologist for ten years; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Smith is presently serving as Medical Director of the
Angel of Mercy/EMT program; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Smith volunteers his time for many functions each
year such as the American Quilters Society Annual Show & Contest
and the Paducah Swim Team by installing and serving a first aid
station at these events; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Smith is the Medical Director of the hazardous /
waste program and the fire prevention programs for the schools; and
WHEREAS, The Commission wishes to express its sincere thanks to
Dr. Smith for his service to the City of Paducah,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED SY THE MAYOR AND THE
COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH:
That the Mayor and the Commissioners in recognition of Dr. Smith's
many contributions to the welfare and safety of this community
express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Smith for his dedication and
service to the Paducah Community, and hereby direct the City Clerk to
make this resolution a part of the permanent records of the City of
Paducah as an expression of their appreciation.
