Robert A. Coleman
WHEREAS, Mr. Coleman has served on the Paducah City
~~~,' Commission for 16 years, six years of which were
~; as Mayor Pro-Tem, having served the City of
Paducah diligently and faithfully through all of
these years, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Coleman has consistently been the choice of
the people for the Commission, having finished
first or second in his eight commission election
races, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Coleman has also been active. in other
community activities such as Chairman of the
Western Kentucky Mental Health-Mental
Retardation Board, Inc. and Chairman of the
scholarship program for the National Association
of Letter Carriers, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Coleman has also participated in state-wide
programs such as a member of the Kentucky Crime
Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE
~ '~'"~~ COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH:

That the Mayor and the Commissioners in recognition of the
many contributions toward the representation of this community
express their sincere appreciation to Robert A. Coleman for his
dedication and service to the Paducah community, and hereby direct
the City Clerk to make this resolution a part of the permanent records
of the City of Paducah as an expression of their appreciation.
