WHEREAS, Mr. Bostock has been Plant Manager of the U.S.
Department of Energy's Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant for the last
four years, and
WHEREAS, this community has realized the increase of almost 400
additional jobs at the plant during his management years, and
WHEREAS, as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of the construction
of the plant, we acknowledge that Mr. Bostock has led this plant
through a period of intense reviews of facilities and operations; that
he has hosted many national leaders, officials, senators, and
representatives interested in the selection of Paducah as the plant site
for the new AVLIS technology, and
WHEREAS, we wish to recognize his contribution to our community
through his work as a Paducah junior Community College Board
Trustee, a member of the City of Paducah Comprehensive Plan
Advisory Committee, a board member of Paducah Main Street, Inc.,
his service on the Board of Directors of the Paducah Area Chamber of
Commerce and on the Greater Paducah Economic Development
Council. We also wish to recognize his service on the Board of the
Paducah Symphony Orchestra and as a member of the Paducah Rotary
Club.

~~ ~ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE
COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH:
That the Mayor and the Commissioners express their deep
appreciation to D. Jeffrey Bostock for his dedication and service to the
Paducah community and hereby direct the City Clerk to make this
resolution a part of the permanent records of the City of Paducah as an
expression of their appreciation to Mr. Bostock.
