A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DEMOLITION, RESIDENT RELOCATION
AND REPLACEMENT HOUSING PLANS FOR KY 6-3, ELMWOOD COURT,
PADUCAH HOUSING AUTHORITY, PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
WHEREAS, the Paducah Housing Authority proposes to
reduce t;he density of dwelling units at KY 6-3, Elmwood
Court, by 50 units; and ,~
WHEREAS, federal regulations require the
one-of-one replacement of housing; and
WHEREAS, the Paducah Housing Authority has an
Annual Contributions Contract (ACC) with the U.S. Department
of Housing and Urban Development, which applies to KY 6-3,
Elmwood Court; and
WHEREAS, HUD approval of this proposed action
requires the submission of Plans related to Demolition of
Units, Relocation of Residents, and Replacement Housing; and
WHEREAS, the Plans have been prepared by staff of
the Paducah Housing Authority in compliance with applicable
regulations; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the Paducah
Housing Authority have reviewed and approved the Plans and
certified that:
1. The relocation resources are decent, safe,
sanitary and affordable;
!~ 2. No demolition action shall take place until
~,.. all displaced residents have been successfully
relocated; and
3. The Paducah Housing Authority°s action is in
compliance with applicable civil rights laws/
compliance agreements; and
WHEREAS, the applicable regulations require
approval of such Plans by the Commissioners of the City of
Paducah.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the
aforementioned Demolition Resident Relocation and
Replacement Housing Plans, as prepared and presented by the
Paducah Housing Authority, be approved and adopted by the
Commissioners of the City of Paducah.
