RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the West Kentucky Corporation was created by
the 1992 General Assembly in an effort to promote and enhance
the health and welfare of the people in the forty-two (42)
Western-most counties of Kentucky through job creation projects
and programs, and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah is likewise concerned
with expanding employment opportunities and the economic base
of this community and the surrounding region, and
WHEREAS, participation in the West Kentucky
Corporation will provide new opportunities to meet local
economic development goals and objectives,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that (the City of
Paducah) shall participate as a member of the West Kentucky
Corporation until such time as the Corporation is notified
otherwise or this Resolution is declared invalid.
RESOLVED this March 2, 1993.
