George G. Sirs Sr.
WHEREAS, George G. Sirk, Sr. has served as a board member of the
Paducah Cable Communications Authority since its
formation in 1975, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Sirk has submitted his resignation as a member of
this board, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Sirk desires to continue to participate in a less active
role, and
WHEREAS, the city desires to maintain the knowledge and expertise
that he has gained through years of dedicated
service,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE
COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH:
That the Mayor and Commissioners in recognition of the many
contributions to the welfare of this community express their sincere
appreciation to Mr. Sirk and therefore move that Mr. Sirk be
,T~i designated as ADVISORY MEMBER EMERITUS of the Paducah Cable
~~ Communication Authority Board. The Commission further thanks
Mr. Sirk for his dedication and service to the Paducah Community,
and hereby directs the City Clerk to make this resolution a part of the
permanent records of the City of Paducah as an expression of their
appreciation.
