WHEREAS, James Curtis, Sr. has served as a board member of the
Civil Service Commission since March 16, 1971, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Curtis has faithfully served the citizens of our city
for over 24 years, and
WHEREAS, he has served city government and city employees in a
fair and professional manner, and
WHEREAS, during the last 22 years, Mr. Curtis has served as
Chairman of the Civii Service Commission, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Curtis has provided his expertise and served with
dedication
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE
COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH:
That the Mayor and the Commissioners in recognition of the
many contributions to the welfare of this community
express their sincere appreciation to James Curtis, Sr.
for his dedication and service to the Paducah
community, and hereby direct the City Clerk to make
this resolution a part of the permanent records of the
City of Paducah as an expression of their appreciation.
