RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE
KENTUCKY DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS REDEFINING THE DOWNTOWN
I-24 BUSINESS LOOP
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah agrees with the recommendation of the
Kentucky Department of Highways redefining what is known as the "Downtown I-24
Business Loop from its current routing via U.S. 68 and U.S. 62 to the recently
constructed John L. Puryear Drive"; and
WHEREAS, the adoption of this Resolution will enable more efficient
traffic flow for area businesses in this community.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Board of
Commissioners that the City of Paducah approves and supports the recommendation of
the Kentucky Department of Highways redefining the Downtown I-24 Business Loop
from its current routing to the recently constructed John L. Puryear Drive.
