INSTALLATION OF A VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM FOR THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SAME
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-661, Cooperative Purchasing of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, this equipment is available under
Paducah Housing Authority's previous Bid dated July 30, 2008, a government purchasing
cooperative, and competitive bidding is not required.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Finance Director is authorized to pay the total sum
of $32,325.80 to Jackson Electric for the purchase and installation of video surveillance
system to be located in Noble Park in the City of Paducah, in compliance with Sec. 2-
661, Cooperative Purchasing of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Jackson Electric, for the purchase and installation of a video surveillance system
authorized in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to the Security Camera
System account.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
