At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, held on Tuesday, October 29, 2012, at 6:00
p.m., Mayor Paxton presided, and upon call of the roll by the City Clerk, the following answered
to their names: Commissioners Abraham, Gault, Kaler, Watkins and Mayor Paxton (5
This meeting was held with the McCracken County Fiscal Court at 3700 Coleman Road (New
McCracken County EOC Building).
MOTIONS
R & F CALLED MEETING NOTICES
Commissioner Kaler offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Abraham, that the Notice of
Called Meeting for 6:00 p.m., Monday, October 29, 2012, be received and filed.
Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Abraham, Gault, Kaler, Watkins and Mayor
Paxton (5).
TOUR OF SPEC BUILDING IN INDUSTRIAL PARK WEST LOCATED ON
COMMERCE DR
The Fiscal Court and the City Commission took a tour of the Spec Building. Chad Chancellor,
GPEDC Executive Director, gave a briefing on the building and its economic value.
After returning to the EOC Building the Fiscal Court and City Commission went into executive
session.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Commissioner Kaler offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Abraham, that the Board go into
closed session for discussion of matters pertaining to the following topics:
• A specific proposal by a business entity where public discussion of the subject matter
would jeopardize the location, retention, expansion or upgrading of a business entity, as
permitted by KRS 61.810(1)(g).

Upon motion the meeting adjourned.
