AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PADUCAH FORD FOR SALE
TO THE CITY OF FIVE SUBCOMPACT VEHICLES FOR USE IN VARIOUS
DEPARTMENTS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of Paducah Ford in the total
amount of $68,000.00, for five (5) 2009 subcompact vehicles for use in various departments, said
bids being in substantial compliance with bid specifications, and as contained in the bids of
Paducah Ford, on September 24, 2008.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Paducah
Ford for the purchase of the subcompact vehicles, authorized in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in
the bid.

SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged to the Rolling Stock -Vehicle
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
