At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, held on Tuesday, August 6, 2013, at 5:30
p.m., in the Commission Chambers of City Hall located at 300 South 5th Street, Mayor Kaler
presided, and upon call of the roll by the City Clerk, the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Abraham, Gault, Rhodes, Wilson and Mayor Kaler (5).
INVOCATION

MUNICIPAL ORDER
REQUEST TO TRANSFER $265,000 FROM THE GENERAL FUND RESERVE
IT TO THE RIVERFRONT DEVELOPMENT PROJECT ACCOUNT
Commissioner Abraham offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Gault, that a
Municipal Order entitled, "A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO TRANSFER $265,000 FROM THE
GENERAL FUND RESERVE TO THE RIVERFRONT DEVELOPMENT PROJECT",
be adopted.
Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Abraham, Gault, Wilson and Mayor
Kaler (4). Nay, Commissioner Rhodes (1).
CITY MANAGER REPORT
City Manager requested an executive session to discuss sale or acquisition of land
None were given.
PUBLIC COMMENTS
Hal Cates -voiced his concerns that dogs should wear muzzles at any public event.
Commissioner Gault offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Abraham, that the Board go
into closed session for discussion of matters pertaining to the following topics:
Future sale or acquisition of a specific parcel(s) of real estate, as permitted by KRs 61.810(1)(b).
