AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A CASE
BACKHOE FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
WHEREAS, this equipment is available under State Contract No. MA 758
0800 0025151, and competitive bidding is not required.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Finance Director is authorized to pay the total sum
of $68,364.22 to McKeel Equipment Company for the purchase of one Case Backhoe for
the City of Paducah/Public Works Department, in compliance with Kentucky State
Purchasing Contract.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
McKeel Equipment Company, for the purchase of one boom mower, authorized in
Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Rolling
Stock/Equipment —Heavy account.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
