AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 WITH MODULAR CONNECTIONS, LLC, FOR AN
INCREASE IN CRANE CHARGES FOR THE MODULAR RESTROOMS IN NOBLE
WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 2008-2-7393 to enter into a
contract with Modular Connections, LLC, in the amount of $94,599.00 for the purchase of a
pre -cast restroom facility for Noble Park; and
WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 2008-7-7440 for Change Order
No. 1 which required an increase in the amount of $2,340.00, for purchase of toilet carriers to
make plumbing connections more adaptable, thereby increasing the total contract price to
$96,939.00; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is required for an increase in the amount of
$317.50, for additional crane costs to lift the modular building onto the Noble Park site,
increasing the total contract price to $97,256.50.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change
Order No. 2 in the amount of $317.50 for additional crane costs for the Modular Restrooms
in Noble Park, increasing the total contract price to $97,256.50.

SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Project Account No.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
