A "Walk the Greenway Trail" event was held at the Noble Park Amphitheater in
Paducah, Kentucky, on August 9, 2008 beginning at 8:00 a.m. Attending were
Commissioners Smith, Watkins and Mayor Paxton (3). Commissioners Coleman and
Kaler were absent (2). No official business was taken. Mark Thompson, Parks Services
Director, called the roll.
Mr. Thompson gave information on background and planned phasing of the Greenway
Trail project and gave a brief description of recently completed park projects.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 a.m. as the Mayor and Commissioners walked the
newly open Greenway Trail with the 25 interested citizens present.
The next event will be September 13, 2008, at 8:00 a.m. at the Noble Park Amphitheater
in Paducah, Kentucky. The meeting will be sponsored by the Engineering Department.
