AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A REVISED
MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY,
DEPARTMENT OF FISH AND WILDLIFE RESOURCES FOR FUNDING ASSOCIATED
WITH THE OHIO RIVER BOAT RAMP PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City adopted Ordinance No. 2007-2-7257 approving the
execution of an agreement with the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Department of Fish and
Wildlife for reimbursement funds not to exceed $175,000 for the Ohio River Boat Ramp Project
with the expiration date of June 30, 2008; and
WHEREAS, due to various requirements associated with permitting and
environmental assessment, approval to proceed with the project has not been granted; and
WHEREAS, the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Department of Fish & Wildlife
Resources has notified the City that it will extend the agreement from August 1, 2008 through
October 31, 2008; and

WHEREAS, the City desires to authorize the Mayor to execute the revised
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a revised
Memorandum of Agreement between the City of Paducah, Kentucky and the Commonwealth of
Kentucky, Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources in the amount of $175,000 for funding
associated with the Ohio River Boat Ramp Project for the time period of August 1, 2008 through
October 31, 2008.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
