AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, APPROVING
A CONTRACT WITH WESTLAKE, REED, AND LESKOSKY TO COMPLETE A CONCEPT
STUDY FOR THE COLUMBIA THEATRE; AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
SAID CONTRACT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY.
SECTION 1. Recitals and Authorization. The City hereby approves the Concept Study
Contract between the City of Paducah and Westlake, Reed, and Leskosky, in substantially the form
attached hereto and made part hereof for the Columbia Theatre. It is "Airther determined that it is
necessary and desirable and in the best interests of the City to enter into the Contract for the purposes
therein specified, and the execution and delivery of the Contract is hereby authorized and approved.
Further, the Mayor of the City is hereby authorized to execute the Contract.
SECTION 2. Compensation. The City shall compensate Westlake, Reed, and Leskosky
in the lump sum amount of $30,000 and up to $3,000 for reimbursable expenses in accordance with the
fee szhedule attached to the Contract as Exhibit A. Said compensation paid by the City shall be funded
through project account 004-0401-536-2307.
SECTION Severability. If any seetion, paragraf h or provision of this Ordinance shall
be held to bt invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the invalidity (Ir unenforceability of such section,
paragraph or provision shall not affect any of the remaining provisions of this Ordinance.
SECTION 4. Compliance With Open Meetings Laws. The City Commissionhereby
finds and determines that all formal actions relative to the aduption of this Ordinance were taken in an
open meeting of this City Commission, and that all deliberations of this City Commission and of its
committees, if any, which resulted in formal action; were in meetings open to the public, in full
compliance with applicable legal requirements.-

SECTION 5. Conflicts. All ordinances, reso.lvtions, orders or parts thereof in conflict
with the provisions of this Ordinance are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repesied and the

SECTION 6. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
