The City of Paducah accepts the bid of cavating for sale to the City of its requirement of be used in street construction work for the year said bid being in words and figures as follows: "We propose to furnish, sell and deliver to the City of Paducah (within the city limits) gravel as or the following prices per ton: Unit Bid Price Approx. Per Ton Quantity $2.75 3,000 "We will start delivery within twenty-four hours after receiving each order. This is a firm price and will not be advanced during the fiscal year 1991-92. In the event of a reduction in our market price, we agree to adjust the price ac- cordingly. "Material delivered will be according to Kentucky State Highway specifications for all crushed limestone. Riprap will also meet Kentucky State Highway specifications. "If the contract is awarded to us, we agree to post a performance bond in the amount of $1,000. We also agree to conform with all other requirements as set forth in the request for bids on this material". being in substantial compliance with, and as i in the bid of Wahl's Excavating, dated July 2, SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to exe- tract with Wahl's Excavating for the purchase of gravel Is set out in Section 1 above. SECTION 3. The purchase price for said gravel shall b charged to Account No. 01-22-02-384. TI SECTION 4.
