HomeMy WebLinkAbout2013-07-8049ORDINANCE NO. 2013-7-8049 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A DEED OF CONVEYANCE AND ALL OTHER DOCUMENTS RELATING THERETO, BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND STEPHEN AND KAREN JACKSON FOR SALE OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON SHEEHAN BRIDGE ROAD BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a Deed of Conveyance and all other documents relating thereto between the City of Paducah and Stephen and Karen Jackson for sale of real property located on Sheehan Bridge Road in the amount of $679,041.00. SECTION 2. That the property authorized in Section 1 above, heretofore approved for acquisition, is more particularly described as follows: BEING TRACT 2, CONSISTING OF 162.445 ACRES, AS DEPICTED ON THE WAIVER OF SUBDIVISION PLAT FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, SHEEHAN BRIDGE ROAD AND INTERSTATE 24 PROPERTY OF RECORD IN PLAT SECTION M, PAGE 709, MCCRACKEN COUNTY COURT CLERK'S OFFICE. BEING A PART OF THE SAME PROPERTY CONVEYED TO CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY BY DEED DATED DECEMBER 18, 2009, OF RECORD IN DEED BOOK 1180, PAGE 467, MCCRACKEN COUNTY COURT CLERK'S OFFICE. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424. Mayor ATTEST: Tammara S.
