AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO
PAY FOR EMERGENCY REMEDIATION DUE TO PARTIAL ROOF COLLAPSE
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 318-324 BROADWAY
WHEREAS, a written determination has been made by the City Manager
that due to the partial roof collapse of property located at 318-324 Broadway the services
required for the emergency remediation were made pursuant to Sec. 2-659 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Finance Director is hereby authorized to pay Jones
Excavation, the sum of $21,000.00, for emergency remediation due to the partial roof
collapse for property located at 318-324 Broadway.
SECTION 2. Expenditures for this project shall be charged to the
Services/Demolition account (001-1806-522-23130.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
