ORDINANCE NO. 91-1-4559
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 90-11-4537
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 90-11-4537 was adopted by
the Board of Commissioners on November 27, 1990; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to change the account
number for the expenditure approved by this ordinance.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the
bid of Asphalt Paving, Inc. in the amount of $374,840.75 for
Cairo Road Sewer Extension, said bid being in substantial
compliance with the bid specifications, and as contained in
the bid of Asphalt Paving, Inc., dated November 6, 1990.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to
execute a contract with Asphalt Paving, Inc. for Cairo Road
Sewer Extension, authorized in Section 1 above, according to
the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
theSewer Depreciation Extension
Account, to be reimbursed at a later date by other
designated funds.
SECTION 4. In order to avoid late charges on this
account, an emergency is declared to exist and this ordi-
nance will become effective immediately with one reading.✓
