ORDINANCE NO. 90-12-4554
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 10-49, 10-51, 10-52, 10-53,
10-54, 10-55, 10-58, 10-59, 10-61, 10-63, AND ABOLISHING SECTION
10-65,"CIVIL SERVICE" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY 7-"

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 10-49 of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and reordained so that said
section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as follows:
"Sec. 10-49. Department of finance.
This department shall be under the direction and supervision of
the city treasurer - finance director, a noncivil service
position which has heretofore been created by separate ordi-
nance.
(a) There is hereby created and authorized the following
positions
in the department of finance, and the salary of each position
that shall be paid upon satisfactory completion of consecutive years of
service, in this position, and upon recommendation of the City Manager:

(b) The chief of the
maintenance division
may designate one
maintenance specialist in his
department to act as
a lead man or
part-time working foreman to
serve in such capacity
at the direction of

division. The maintenance specialist so
designated shall be paid an additional
$1.00 per hour during such times
as the maintenance specialist
designated actually serves in such
capacity.
SECTION 11. That Section 10-63, Fire Department Switchboard
Operator and Clerk -typist, be amended and reordained so that said
section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as follows:
"Sec. 10-63. Fire Department Telephone Operator & Clerk-
