AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BUFORD HEATING
& AIR CONDITIONING, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $58,735.00 FOR
FIRE STATION NO. 1 HVAC SYSTEM, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the
bid of Buford Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. in the amount
of $58,735.00 for Fire Station No. 1 HVAC system, said bid
being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications,
and as contained in the bid of Buford Hearing & Air
Conditioning, Inc., dated November 19, 1990.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to
execute a contract with Buford Heating & Air Conditioning,
Inc. for Fire Station No. 1 HVAC system, authorized in
Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 10-500-220-257.
SECTION 4. In order to complete installation of
this system before the onset of cold weather, an emergency
is declared to exist and this ordinance will become
effective immediately with one .reading.
