ORDINANCE NO. 90-11-4530
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
�r LETTER OF AGREEMENT TO SEWER SERVICE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF PADUCAH AND SANITATION DISTRICT NO. 2 OF MCCRACKEN
COUNTY, KENTUCKY
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah entered into a Sewer
Service Agreement with Sanitation District No. 2 of
McCracken County, Kentucky, on December 12, 1986; and
WHEREAS, Addendum No. 1 to this Agreement was
approved by Ordinance No. 87-5-3002 on May 12, 1987; and
WHEREAS, Addendum No. 2 to this Agreement was
approved by Ordinance No. 87-7-3058 on August 31, 1987; and
WHEREAS, Addendum No. 3 to this Agreement was
approved by Ordinance No. 89-12-4353 on December 26, 1989;
and
WHEREAS, Addendum No. 4 to this Agreement was
approved by Ordinance No. 90-2-4378 on February 27, 1990;
and
WHEREAS, certain additional agreements are needed
in order to conform with the requirement of the Kentucky
Pollution Abatement Authority, through whom bond financing
will be secured.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is authorized to
execute a Letter of Agreement to Sewer Service Agreement
between the City of Paducah and Sanitation District No. 2 of
McCracken County. This Letter of Agreement is attached
hereto and incorporated by reference as if fully set out.
herein.
SECTION 2. Due to time constraints involving
construction deadlines, an emergency is declared to exist
and this ordinance will become effective immediately with
one reading.
