ORDINANCE NO. 90-12-4550
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF McBRIDE MACK TRUCK
SALES IN THE AMOUNT OF $179,672.60 FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO MACK
MR688P CHASSIS WITH HEIL FORMULA 5000-20 REAR LOADING REFUSE
BODIES, FOR SALE TO THE CITY FOR USE BY THE REFUSE DEPARTMENT,

AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid
of McBride Mack Truck Sales in the amount of $179,672.60 for
the purchase of two Mack MR688P chassis with Heil Formula
5000-20 rear loading refuse bodies, for sale to the City for
use by the Refuse Department, said bid being in substantial
compliance with the bid specifications, and as contained in the
bid of McBride Mack truck Sales of November 14, 1990.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a
contract with McBride Mack Truck Sales for the purchase of two
trucks, authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifi-
cations, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore
approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 14-500-420-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
