AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MIDSTATES
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $68,799.00 TO RETROFIT
FIRE STATIONS NO. 1 THROUGH 5, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the
bid of Midstates Construction Company in the amount of
$68,799.00 to retrofit Fire Stations No. 1 through 5, said
bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifi-
cations authorized by the Board of Commissioners and as con-
tained in the bid of Midstates Construction Company of
November 27, 1990.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to
execute a contract with Midstates Construction Company in
the amount of $68,799.00 to retrofit Fire Stations No. 1
through 5, authorized in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents

heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No.
SECTION 4. In order to make reinforcements of
Fire Stations to prevent damage from any major disaster, an
emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance will
become effective with one reading.
