ORDINANCE NO. 90-11-4545
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF WILLIAM M.
MERCER, INC. IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $5,500.00 FOR
ACTUARIAL STUDY OF POLICE AND FIREMEN'S RETIREMENT FUND, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
C3 WHEREAS, KRS 95.880 requires the City to pay
administrative expenses of the Police and Firemen's Pension
Fund; and
WHEREAS, KRS 95.868 requires the Police and
Firemen's Pension Fund to have actuarial services performed.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the
proposal of William M. Mercer, Inc. in an amount not to
exceed $5,500.00 for an actuarial study of the Police and
Firemen's Retirement Fund, and authorizing the Mayor to
execute a contract for same.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to
l Account No. 12-500-150-494.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
