AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE
PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF
PROPERTY OF THE PARK PLAZA OF PADUCAH, INC., LOCATED ON THE \,

EAST SIDE OF HIGH STREET, SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 60, AND AMENDING
THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution passed by the
Paducah Planning Commission on March 4, 1991, and
entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE
PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF
PROPERTY OF THE PARK PLAZA OF PADUCAH, INC., LOCATED ON THE
EAST SIDE OF HIGH STREET, SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 60", be approved
as the final report of said Commission respecting the
matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification and the
map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same
are hereby, declared to be in agreement with the comprehen-
sive plan of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the
following described property be, and it is hereby, changed
from R-2, Low/Medium Density Residential Zone, to Highway
Business District Zone:
Beginning at point in the center line of High
Street, said point being 165 feet, more or less,
south of the right of way line of Highway 60,
thence in an easterly direction a distance of 200
feet to a point in Lot #1 of Park Plaza of
Paducah, Inc., thence in a southerly direction a
distance of 530.81 feet; thence in a westerly
direction a distance of 200 feet to a point in the
center line of High Street; thence in a northerly
direction a distance of 530.81 feet to the point
of beginning.

SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or
provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inopera-
tive, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency
or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall
not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof,

it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make
each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof
separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provi-
sions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
