HomeMy WebLinkAbout91-2-4568ce v ORDINANCE NO. 91-2-4568 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON WEST JEFFERSON, NORTH 36TH STREET AND NORTH 37TH STREET, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDI- NANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution passed by the Paducah Planning Commission on November 19, 1990, and amended and adopted by said Commission on February 4, 1991 entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON WEST JEFFERSON, NORTH 36TH AND NORTH 37TH STREET", be approved as the final report of said Com- mission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification and the map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agreement with the comprehen- sive plan of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following described property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-2, Low/Medium Density Residential Zone, to R-1, Low Density Residential Zone: Beginning at the corner of Pines Road and North 34th Street at the railroad tracks; thence in a westerly direction up to and including Lillian Street (now North 37th Street); thence northwest along Lillian Street (North 37th Street) up to and including Minnich Avenue; thence southeasterly along Minnich Avenue over to the railroad tracks; thence running southeasterly and with the railroad tracks to the point of beginning. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inopera- tive, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provi- sions. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon publication of 0 1-1 title and a certified summary thereof. GERRY B.
